Gemma Lopez is a lens-based artist with roots in both Los Angeles and in New York where she received her Masters in Fine Arts at the School of Visual Arts. She has over 13 years of experience in the creative field working as a professional imaging specialist for numerous global brands including Calvin Klein, Vans, St John Knits, lululemon, and Vince.
Gemma has been working on her ongoing artist project 30 Baseball Stadiums which catalogs all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums in the US. Informed by her background in architecture, 30 Baseball Stadiums uses photography and video to portray the multilayered experience of occupied space. She has 18 stadiums photographed.
